The Project
SENSING VOLUMES is a project that widens our focus of movement beyond the visual. The project situates movement and sound in the same space, merging these two mediums into a single volume. SENSING VOLUMES challenges society’s hierarchy and attitude towards prioritizing the visual over every other sense. The project curates spaces where multiple individualities can coexist and collaborate with each other through interactive technology.
SENSING VOLUMES is a creative collaboration between movement and sound artists - Felicitas Thomas and Felipe Vareschi. The duo is designing performances, installations and workshops where sound and movement become part of the same vocabulary.
